Poetry Book

 I just realized that every post has title on the top of it............

-22nd of July 2021-

I have just finished my poetry book on 13th of July!!

I don't think it is really good but at least I made it.....Activities of downloaded and deleted were happened many times during the making of my poetry book. Without thinking of the weakness of the poetry book, I love this book. A big big thanks to my lecturer Ma'am Rahmah Fithriani, Ph. D who gives her encouragement  to us in making this poetry book. It is my first time completing a poetry book and it feels so happy and glad and merry!!!

So, this book consists of cover, preface, contents, credit page, and me introducing myself. The contents consist of me, my family, best friend, insecurity, self-healing, simply it is like a little journey of mine (this line is also written in my preface). I got confused in choosing font, graphic, and colour in every page, but finally I have decided and finish them all. I wish people who read the book would feel happy, too.

And also big thanks to canva bc it makes the designing process much easier. I am just a little bit too much that I open and read the book thousand times, haha.

Then, I got problem in collecting the softcopy to my friend because the stupid me chosed Instagram stories template for my poetry book, while my friends who is printing our softcopy that soon will be a hardcopy said that my paper should be in the shape of A5. I do not even know what shape my paper is.....

Bc my canva is sadly not the pro one, I cannot resize the paper. So I tried to search on internet if there was web to resize the paper. I got one web that can resize the paper but unfortunately, all the things that I have designed were changed into such broken pieces. I felt shocked then I tried to search for another one. I got one web, again. This one did not make my design change into broken pieces but there was white color in the left and right in every paper.

I sent it to my friend. It was like “nah, I won’t re-design it all over again, because I am not good at designing things?? How do I re-design it all over again” but my friend said, it was better if there was no white color in the left and right in every paper, it looked ugly.

In such a coincidence, my (another) friend told me that she has canva pro!! Well, I asked her if she could resize my paper. And she said “well, just send the link, I’m going to try”, and luckily....................after I sent the link sharing from my canva app to hers, she said that she could resize the paper.................. I felt so glad and grateful that I didn’t need to re-design my poetry book all over again, really thanks to my friend Syafitri. S.

So, now I just need to gather all my poem’s draft...
